Things To Do

Wagtails is a Cosy and peaceful Cottage on the Somerset/Dorset border just to chill out it has a secure garden. There are lot of country walks from the front gate and if you wish to bring your 4 legged friends we are dog friendly.

If you are fancying a shopping treat Our local Towns are Sherborne and Yeovil and we are about a ½ hour drive to Street Shopping Village and Dorchester, and an hour drive to Wells, Bath , Bristol ,Glastonbury, Exeter, Taunton ,Weymouth, Shaftesbury and Sailsbury or catch the train from either Sherborne or Yeovil to most of these towns and cities

We are a about an hour drive from the jurassic Coast so you can take in the spectaular views from the cliffs or nestle in the various harbours, the coast is also very popular with day time fishing for mackeral etc and night fishing for the Bass, Pollack etc

Paddle Boarding is very popular and we have the local coast an hour away and also at the langport River Parrett which is 25mins away which is a great safe place for canoing,Kyacking,Paddle boarding, and many walking trails there is a lovely cafe on the river side.
